Bruce & Anne Shepard Reach Your Peak Scholarship

The Bruce and Anne Shepard Reach Your Peak Scholarship provides awards for high-achieving, high-potential students funded by community donors. To qualify, you must be a Colorado resident, working towards a first undergraduate degree, enroll full-time, have and maintain at least a cumulative 2.5 GPA, show financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA -ASSET students only), and intend to work at least part-time during the academic year. Some exceptions to the work requirement may be made for those who are the primary caretaker of a dependent or are unable to work for other extenuating circumstances. Applicants with a SAI greater than $10,000 will most likely not qualify. The scholarship may be renewed for a total of four consecutive years. Recipients are expected to be campus leaders, top students, and graduate within four years. Scholarships are not automatically renewed; however, students are encouraged to reapply each year. Recipients will participate in a supplemental support program designed to enhance their educational experiences at UCCS. If you would like to learn more, visit the Reach Your Peak Scholarship website.

Freshmen finalists will be contacted via their UCCS email to participate in a virtual interview in March. Transfer students and continuing UCCS student finalists will be contacted via their UCCS email for a virtual interview in April.

Award notifications for new freshmen will be made in early April. Transfer and continuing UCCS students will be notified in May.
