Excellence in Public Service Endowed Scholarship

The Excellence in Public Service Scholarship recognizes both academic and public service excellence in a graduate student pursuing a degree in the fields of Public Affairs and Public Administration (as defined by the NASPAA Accrediting Body). To qualify, students must be enrolled full-time in any public administration program in the School of Public Affairs.

Recipients will be notified of scholarship results in May.

  1. In a MINIMUM OF 500 WORDS, address the following question:
    What is your public service story? Tell us about your current and aspired to public service employment and civic goals. Provide the reason why you are passionate about the study of public service. Describe how you are exemplifying public service excellence. MAXIMUM OF 800 WORDS allowed. Essays will be ranked based upon content, length, grammar, spelling, organized structure, and attention to detail. You are encouraged to write an essay that grabs the attention of the reader by being creative and using rich language.
