Penrose Nurse Scholars Program

This program is only available to students admitted to the Nursing major who have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Awards will be applied for $2,500 per semester you are enrolled in clinicals. Award amounts will vary. This scholars program carries with it the obligation to work for two years at the hospital for which the scholarship is named. Employment starts after graduation and passing the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. If you do not intend to work for this hospital after you graduate, please DO NOT apply for this scholarship. If for any reason you do not fulfill the work obligation stated in the contract you sign, you must repay the funds you received according to the contract.

Recipients will be notified of scholarship results in May.
