Pre-Collegiate Development Program Pioneer Fund Scholarship

The Pioneer Scholarship is awarded to top graduates of the Pre-Collegiate Development Program. Students can reapply if they meet the scholarship requirements and funding is available.

Eligibility Criteria:


  • Participated and successfully completed the Pre-Collegiate Program (determined by program staff).

  • Consistently attended academic year program events and activities while in the program (determined by program staff).

  • Have a high school GPA of 2.75 or higher.

  • Demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA or the ASSET Student Financial Aid Application by the March 1st.

  • Observed and met all Pre-Collegiate deadlines (including the UCCS Application in SAI).


Applicants will be notified of scholarship results in April.

  1. The UCCS Pre-Collegiate Development Program Pioneer Fund Scholarship is awarded to top graduates of the Pre-Collegiate Development Program. Award amounts vary, but are typically $2,000 per year. Students can reapply if they are meeting the scholarship requirements and funding is available.
