Women in Aerospace Scholarship

Women in Aerospace (WIA) is dedicated to expanding women’s opportunities for leadership and increasing their visibility in the aerospace community. Our membership – comprised of both women and men – shares an interest in a broad spectrum of aerospace issues, including human space flight, aviation, remote sensing, satellite communications, robotic space exploration, and policy issues surrounding these fields.

The WIA Foundation will award a $2,000 scholarship per year to a woman who is a rising senior in college studying engineering, math or science, thus encouraging women to enter careers in the aerospace field.

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs does not select scholarship recipients based upon gender. External scholarship providers who award gender-based awards may be listed on our website, but do not receive administrative or financial support from the University.
