National Federation of the Blind
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day they raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and their dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
To recognize achievement by blind scholars, the National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the United States and Puerto Rico the opportunity to win one of thirty merit-based, national-level scholarships worth $3,000 to $12,000. All scholarships awarded are based on academic excellence, community service, and leadership.
