LAS Academic Scholarship

The Letters, Arts, and Sciences (LAS) Academic Scholarship is for continuing full-time undergraduate students who have a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher on 15 or more CU credit hours. Typical award amounts range from $1,000-$1,250.

Applicants will be notified of scholarship results in April.

  1. In a MINIMUM OF 400 WORDS, address the following topic: “The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts.” – C. S. Lewis MAXIMUM OF 1000 WORDS allowed. Essays will be ranked based upon content, length, grammar, spelling, organized structure, and attention to detail. You are encouraged to write an essay that grabs the attention of the reader by being creative and using rich language.
