Jeniel Harris Visual Art Scholarship

The Jeniel Harris Visual Art Scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in Visual Art in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. Awards are granted based on artistic merit and given to Visual Art concentrations. Women over the age of 30 are especially encouraged to apply, as are students with financial need; however, an applicant’s gender and financial aid status will not be considered major factors in the recipient selection process. Up to three $1,000 awards are made per year. Although not renewable, previous recipients are encouraged to reapply for the award.

Applicants will be notified of scholarship results in May.

Note: To apply, upload a brief creative work statement, a brief statement describing how the scholarship will be used, and 8-10 image files of your creative work. For audio and/or video files, please include a link in one of your files to an on-line site where the work can be experienced.
