Johnson Beth-El DEI Scholarship

The Johnson Beth-El DEI Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Students from underrepresented geographic areas (rural communities) and socioeconomic backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in field of healthcare, and/or students who have faced unusual adversity may qualify for this scholarship. The scholarship is need-based and students must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA -ASSET students only) no later than March 1st.

The donor expressed a strong desire to encourage applications from underrepresented groups. However, the selection of the winners will be based upon the merit of submitted materials, and will not take into consideration an applicant’s status in any of the protected class categories.


Recipients will be notified of scholarship results in May.
