Pueblo County Scholarship

Pueblo County and the State of Colorado have a critical shortage of nursing, education, and engineering professionals, and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is positioned to support students from Pueblo County to fill this workforce need.

To be eligible for the Pueblo County scholarship, students must:
• Be a resident of Pueblo County
• Complete FAFSA application
• Complete UCCS general scholarship application
• Be enrolled in the College of Nursing, Engineering, or Education
• With a preference for students who have demonstrated financial need up to 250% of Pell Eligibility
• Maintain GPA above 2.5

The scholarship amount and number of awards is dependent on the level of funding each year. Preference will be given to students who received the scholarship in the previous year and met the scholarship requirements. Typical award amounts range from $4,000 to $10,000.
