Ed Burke Memorial Scholarship

The Ed Burke Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Dr. Ed Burke, an exercise scientist who served as a professor, mentor, and colleague in the UCCS Biology Department for many years. Full-time undergraduate (junior standing or higher) and graduate students (completed at least one semester of graduate studies) studying exercise science who have a maintained a GPA of at least 3.0 are eligible to apply for this merit-based scholarship. Typical awards range from $1,000 to $3,500.

Recipients will be notified of scholarship results in May.
