Kathleen McHugh Denver Scholarship

The Kathleen Elise McHugh Scholarship is a four year, $20,000 renewable scholarship awarded to students who will graduate from a Denver High School. The award amount is over a four year period if renewal criteria are met. Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 and demonstrate financial need by submitting the FAFSA by March 1. Preference will be given to students who attended a Denver school identified as ‘high poverty’. Priority preference shall be given to students who attended Force Elementary School in Denver. Preference shall be given to students who are considered an English Language Learner and learning the English language in addition to his or her native language.

Applicants will be notified of scholarship results in April.
