Jesse Family Computer Science Scholarship Fund

The Jesse Family Computer Science Scholarship Fund supports undergraduate scholarship awards for diverse students enrolled in the College of Engineering and Applied Science who are majoring in Computer Science. The scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate financial need by submitting the FAFSA by March 1. Preference will be given to residents of El Paso County and those who attended D-2, D-3, or D-8 high schools.

The donor expressed a strong desire to encourage applications from students who are from geographic areas and socioeconomic backgrounds that are historically underrepresented in the field of computer science, first-generation college students and students who have faced unusual adversity. Female students are also highly encouraged to apply for this award. However, selection of the winners will be based upon the merit of submitted materials, and will not take into consideration an applicant’s status in any of the protected class categories.

Recipients will be notified of scholarship results in May.
